An expert in live and studio performance and production for both music and television industries, Marcos Sanchez is a Latin GRAMMY® Award Winning and Multi-Nominated Musician, Producer, Arranger, and Composer whose fervent prowess as one of the industry’s most versatile pianist [studied with Andy Laverne and possesses equal proficiency in jazz, commercial music, and Latin musical idioms] and drummer [studied with Patrick W. Smith, Jesse Hameen and Nick Forté], multi-instrumentalist [i.e., guitar, bass, trumpet, and saxophone], ensemble director, and orchestral arranger [for film and live shows] has earned him a tenured music production and audio engineering positions for the acclaimed record label, Sony Music Entertainment; nationally broadcasted televised shows such as American Idol in Puerto Rico (2012 and 2013), Yo Canto (I Sing) TV Show for Telemundo Network, American Idol for Kids in Puerto Rico (2012 and 2013)

As a seasoned music business professional, entrepreneur, and educator, Sanchez serves as the CEO of EMR Studio and MS Music Group, LLC where he provides industry-standard instruction for music production/audio engineering at affordable rates for independent artists and applied lesson in advanced jazz improvisation composition to under-served communities, all with the aim of bridging social gaps, providing access to promising creative professionals, and fostering self-efficacy among his students.
